MORE ABOUT appointments

Are you experiencing crippling menstrual pain, or have you recently been diagnosed with Endometriosis, and want natural treatment? You're not alone, Endometriosis is now the most common hormonal condition which affects 1 in 7 women in Australia.

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, leading to chronic pain and inflammation. Treating Endometriosis requires a holistic, whole body approach to effectively reduce pain, improve gut health and support healthy oestrogen.

  • Severe menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea)
  • Heavy or irregular periods
  • Pain during intercourse
  • Chronic pelvic pain
  • Bloating and digestive discomfort
  • Fatigue and low energy levels
  • Infertility or difficulty conceiving
  • Pain with bowel movements or urination
  • Blood when passing bowel movements

Understanding Endometriosis to Treat It Better:

The cause of Endometriosis is still unknown. But we do know it's a complex condition influenced by multiple factors, including inflammation, immune dysregulation, leaky gut usually with lipopolysaccharide toxicity, and excess oestrogen.
  • Chronic Inflammation: Endometriosis is often characterised by heightened inflammatory responses caused by immune dysregulation leading to pain, tissue damage, and increased oxidative stress.
  • Leaky Gut & Gut Dysbiosis: Emerging research suggests a connection between gut health and endometriosis. Increased intestinal permeability (leaky gut) and imbalances in gut bacteria can contribute to systemic inflammation and worsen symptoms.
  • High Oestrogen Levels: Endometrial lesions contain oestrogen receptors, which are influenced by monthly cyclical oestrogen fluctuations excess oestrogen, or poor oestrogen metabolism, can stimulate the growth of endometrial tissue.
  • Impaired liver and gastrointestinal detoxification of oestrogen: the liver and gastrointestinal system and the primary routes of oestrogen clearance, this can be disturbed by dysbiosis as well as impaired liver detoxification pathways.

A Natural Naturopathic Approach to Treating Endometriosis:

Naturopathic medicine focuses on reducing inflammation, supporting oestrogen balance, and improving overall well-being through:
  • Anti-Inflammatory & Gut Support – Repairing leaky gut, reducing dietary inflammatory triggers and reducing dysbiosis to support immune function and reduce inflammation.
  • Hormonal Balance – Regulating oestrogen levels and supporting hormonal clearance through targeted gut and liver support.
  • Pain Management – Using natural anti-inflammatory compounds to help reduce menstrual and pelvic pain.
  • Detoxification Support – Enhancing liver function to improve oestrogen metabolism and minimise excess oestrogen levels.
  • Immune & Stress Regulation – Supporting the immune system and addressing adrenal health to promote overall balance.
  • Nutritional & Lifestyle Strategies – Implementing an anti-inflammatory diet, stress reduction techniques, and movement practices to manage symptoms.

By addressing the root causes of endometriosis, we can help manage symptoms, improve fertility outcomes, and enhance quality of life. If you’re looking for natural support for endometriosis, I’m here to support you in Sydney online.
